Peach + Rio

Is anyone else thankful for their pets during this weird time? We sure are grateful to have our girls Cleo and Como as well as having Peach here for her pregnancy. We also have our daughter's puppy Cade on board for some basic training as well, so our house is full of love.

Spending time with your pets can help you feel more calm and relaxed, reducing stress and increasing happiness. Studies have shown that petting and talking to your pet will often lower your blood pressure. There are a myriad of other health benefits that make owning a pet a worthwhile relationship.

If you don't have a pet and have been contemplating getting one, first know that it's not all snuggles and ball fetching. As little Cade has reminded us, you have to baby proof the house for a time, invest time into training, and then load up on patients as you work through the puppy stage. In the case of Goldendoodles, this time can go pretty quickly with their intelligence level and willingness to please. The next important factor to consider is commitment. The commitment required financially, physically, and emotionally. Owning a dog for a pet is an all in commitment that also comes with endless rewards and joy.

We are anticipating a litter of F1b Goldendoodles from Peach + Rio at the end of May and we are confident these puppies will become really amazing companions and have a very high potential for Service Dog training. In addition to their great looking appearance, they also receive genetics that makes them hypoallergenic and non shedding. This makes the Goldendoodle great for people who suffer from pet allergies and don’t like dog fur around their house.

Rio is a regal and athletic 55 lb AKC Standard Tri-Color Parti Poodle who has the sweetest disposition and is just a fun dog. Peach is a 45 lb F1 Goldendoodle that possesses all of the great qualities of her Golden Retriever sire Max and dam Cleo. She is loving, pleasing, loyal, and loves to play.
